JOB OPPORTUNITY
We are Singapore based IT company looking for qualified candidate for following position:
IT ENGINEER
Responsibilities:
- Provide first level technical phone/email support to troubleshooting isolation and resolution.
- Log fault calls & email and ensure prompt and timely follow ups
- Prepare daily shift report
- Work on technical issues with Vendors or Carriers technical assistance, Escalate issue to 2nd level engineer and oversee or escalate each problem until resolution.
- Provide active monitoring and escalation
- Assist in Ad-hoc duties as per assigned
- Travel to Singapore for work or training may be required from time to time
- Candidates with suitable experience may also be invite to work in the Singapore office.
Requirements:
- At least Diploma or degree in Computer Science or Electronics Engineering or equipalent,
- Ability to perform shift work
- Basic knowledge of desktop (Windows Vista, Windows 8/10, MacOS) and networking (LAN/WAN technologies such as TCP/IP)
- Good written & verbal communication and presentation skills
- Good team player but able to work independently, follow SOP and under pressure
- Highly adaptable to a fast-faced and dynamic environment, have a sense of urgency
- Relevant Network Professional Certification – i.e. CCNA
