A. FACILITY ENGINEER STAFF
Description :
Caterpillar, the world’s leading manufacturer of construction and mining equipment, is now hiring for the position of Facility Engineer. As a Facility Engineer at Caterpillar, your purpose will be to design or assist in the efficient, economical design, installation and maintenance of assigned equipment, troubleshoot operational problems, coordinate schedules for construction and ensure environmental guide lines are maintained. This role is project oriented and assignments may include mechanical, electrical, structural, environmental and computer related projects based on experience and educational background.
Job Duties/Responsibilities may include, but are not limited to :
1. Design of test facilities, electrical power components, lighting system, heat-treating systems, machine tool electrical system filtration systems, waste disposal and pollution control system, utilities and ventilating system
2. Schedule and ensuring project completion.
3. Troubleshooting throughout the plant to determine cause of failure, lack of efficiency and the need for repair or improvement of systems or equipment.
4. Resolving problem in design and recommending solutions to prevent recurrence of problem.
Required Qualifications:
- Accredited degree in Engineering or Engineering Technology
- Knowledge of computerized systems to properly diagnose problems and make appropriate solution recommendations
- A thorough knowledge of shop operations and procedures
- Previous experience in specific disciplines
- Computer literacy and good communication skills
- Knowledgeable in Risk Assessment, FMEA, 6 Sigma
- Minimum 2 year experience for the same capacity
- English Skill Active, Speak, Presentation & Written
- Batam Base
Desired Qualifications :
General understanding of the Caterpillar organization, products, policies, and procedures
B. PRODUCTION SYSTEM ASSOCIATE NON STAFF
Job Duties/Responsibilities may include, but are not limited to:
1. Support safety as a top priority
2. Perform regular walks and audits related to safety, quality, waste, 5S, standard work, productivity, and Overall Equipment Effectiveness/Overall Process Effectiveness in accordance with the Lean Manufacturing receive. Documentation should verify regularity
3. Assist to identify Root Cause Corrective Actions (RCCAs) and ensures that they are documented, implemented, and tracked
4. Assist the shop floor leader to use of cell and visual boards and ensures that they are update in compliance with the CSP standards, and are use as the basis for Process Improvement
Required Qualification :
- Strong Ability to learn especially in Caterpillar Production System
- Creative and change-oriented Continuous Improvement process skills
- Strong written, verbal, communications English skills
- Min Senior High School
- Good communication and interpersonal skills, strong personal initiative, team spirit, careful, considerate and diligent
- Experience involved in improvement project like Six Sigma, Kaizen, etc would be advantages
