Inmarsat, the world’s leading Mobile Satellite Services (MSS) Operator (with Headquarters in London, UK) is looking for a highly talented and enthusiastic professional to join its subsidiary in Indonesia, PT ISAT.

This position will be located in the Batam office, Sekupang. The type of employment is Permanent.

Batam Operations Centre Controller

DESKRIPSI PEKERJAAN

Primary role purpose:

Performing daily 24/7 shift of Batam GSPS Network and IT Operations

Key Responsibilities:

• To perform daily GSPS Network Operation in shift working scheme 24/7 effectively to maintain GSPS SLA performance and service quality.
• To perform GSPS network monitoring, investigation, troubleshooting and escalation for any network issues based on the SOP and escalation procedure. This includes but not limited to gain good GSPS knowledge and capable to use all Inmarsat applications/ troubleshooting tools.
• To carry-out Customer Care handling based on CC escalation procedure. This includes but not limited to perform troubleshooting/investigating CC issue, responding CC email, updating Microsoft Dynamic CRM and escalating to 2nd level support.
• To take part in developing network tool and SW applications.
• To support network expansion project which include installation, testing and operations.
• To perform IT Monitoring for all Inmarsat IT infrastructure, escalate (call-out/email), open the ticket, own and follow up the ticket alert, and is responsible to close the ticket. This also includes monitor and analyse alert stat and to follow up accordingly with the goal to reduce the number of alert.
• To manage spare-part list of GSPS equipment in all GSPS sites. This includes to track, update status and reporting.
• To perform other tasks in the network and IT Operations as driven by business need.

Essential Knowledge and Skills:

• Have minimum D3 in Telecommunication Engineering. Minimum GPA 3.0 (scale of 4.0). Fresh graduates are welcome to apply.
• Have proven web programming and database skills.
• Possess good analytical and problem solving skills
• Fluent in English (oral and written) since most communication in daily job using English.
• Willing to work in shift to support 24/7 Operation and do routine activities.
• Willing to work as a team and possess good behaviours and interpersonal skills.

Desirable Knowledge and Skills:

• Have at least 2-3 years’ working experience IT field.  
• Holding CCNA/CCNA Security certificate would be an advantage.
