Regional Finance Manager
DESKRIPSI PEKERJAAN
- Weekly forecasting of regional cash flow files, with appropriate management of potential movements
- Fortnightly P&L flash file forecast with full understanding of all movements compared to latest forecast and management of total risks and opportunities identified
- Working closely with Operational teams to identify P&L improvement areas, cost challenges and opportunities to maximize economic return for the business
- Review and analysis of monthly results with full reporting back to senior management
- Preparation of annual budget and quarterly forecasts in conjunction with operational P&L owners
- Continual review and understanding of working capital, producing and leading improvement opportunities with a view to driving improved cash flow
- Review business KPI statistics (financial and non-financial) with a view to identifying issues and improving efficiencies
- Business process control and feedback – continual monitoring and improvement suggestions on the use of global ERP system (Microsoft AX12), ensuring all business processes are followed correctly within the system
- Contribute to Commercial discussions for the business by reviewing, monitoring and advising the Sales & Legal teams of the commercial risks and costing/pricing levels during bidding and execution stages
- Supervision, training and mentoring of accounting staff in the wider team
- Responsibility for statutory accounting requirements in relation to audit and tax, working closely with the Corporate Controllership team to ensure minimization of external professional fee costs
- Responsibility for implementing all corporate finance policies and procedures
- Coordinate forecast and planning schedule for finance and operational teams, communicate requirements clearly and concisely to organization on a timely basis and drive delivery schedule
- Involvement and understanding of current business development opportunities with input to financial elements of contracts
- Fortnightly attendance and input at CFO meeting with wider global finance team
- Attendance and input at regional management meetings
- Contribute to regular and ad-hoc meetings as required.
- Ownership of legal repository filings
- IT oversight, with IT manager reporting to RFM
Requirements :
- Experience of working in an international company, with international finance experience
- 5+ years’ experience in finance team
- 2+ years’ experience in management accountant / finance controller role
- Fluent communication in English, both orally and written
- Excellent oral and written communicator with the ability to communicate effectively at all levels internally and externally
- Ability to knowledge share (transmit and receive lessons learned) with other colleagues
- Effective team building, motivation and leadership skills
- Effective decision maker with demonstrable analytical and problem solving skills
- Ability to identify and implement process improvements
- Flexible approach requiring the ability to communicate with and support international operations across multiple time zones and a variety of cultures
- Ability to constructively discuss business issues and implement process improvement
- Experience with Microsoft AX12 ERP systems an advantage
- Education: Essential Fully Qualified Accountant (CA/CIMA/ACCA/CPA or similar)
