Civil Inspector 

Job Description: 

1. To inspect site construction activities to ensure conformance with Contract Drawings, approved shop drawings, method statements and specification
2. Monitor and supervise infrastucture works, including reviewing plans, specification, estimations, and calculations and giving advice on corrective action
3. Carry out inspections and verification of work for project Inspection, Test, Plan (ITP) Requirement
4. Coordinates survey, material testing and sampling as required
5. Record ITP result into the project filing system
6. To maintain project site diary of Owner project site for daily activities within area of responsibilities
7. Verify the quantities of Owner monthly payment application
8. Other duties as directed by Site Manager or Engineer Site Representative
9. Checking materials and work in progress for compliance with the specified requirements
10. Monitor activities with respect to compliance with safety working practices

Requirements: 

 Candidate must possess at least a Diploma, Bachelor's Degree, Engineering (Civil)
 Required language : English is a must
 At least 10 year of working experience in the related field is required for this position
 Self-confident in the approach to the Owner
 Able to read and understand drawings and specifications
 Have experience in civil construction, civil road, drainage, rail work, real estate and understanding in surveying
 Good knowledge construction practice related to formwork, rebar and concrete placing.
 Experience in precast erection, post tensioning, bridge is preferred
 Ability to check executed work like rebar, formwork, joints etc. against detailed design drawings and "good for construction" drawings work is preferred.
