Plant Manager - O&M

Job Desk:


  • Plant Manager will have managerial responsibility, where to plan and manage daily operations and maintenance (O&M) of Gas Fired Power Plant in Rengat, Riau. Details of responsibility as follows:  
  • Planning the operations and maintenance of Gas Fired Power Plant, both short and long-term plan;
  • Taking a lead of O&M team which consist of operations and maintenance team;
  • Coordinating closely with Engine Manufacturer (Japanese Company), both for operating and maintenance purpose;
  • Coordinating with head office (in Semarang) for technical and commercial purpose;
  • Communicating and coordinating with customer (asset owner) for technical and commercial purpose;
  • Communicating and coordinating with third-parties (i.e. PLN) for technical and commercial purpose;
  • Ensuring the operations and maintenance activities are match with manufacturer’s requirement;
  • Managing daily operations which is not limited to (i) ensuring that engines work properly, (ii) ensuring that electricity demand which requested by PLN meet with engine capacity, and (iii) ensuring that every trouble of engine can be informed and solved properly;
  • Managing regular maintenance (from 2,000 hours until 31,999 hours).         


Requirements:


  • Bachelor Degree from reputable university. Graduated from ITB, UGM, and UI are advantage;
  • Fully understand of managing the Power Plant’s O&M, experience in Gas Fired Power Plant is advantage;
  • Having experience as Plant Manager of a power plant is high advantage;
  • Having minimum 7 years-experience in power industry;
  • Having minimum 3 years-experience in Power Plant’s O&M;
  • Having good communication skills, both in English and Indonesian;
  • Having good leadership skills;
  • Having of soft skills which are not limited to (i) solving problem; and (ii) initiating the improvement.
